An old chain became the base of this lamp. The welded links provided a nice stand. The stand was finished a while ago, but I did not immediately have an idea what I would use as a lamp. Until I was cleaning up my whorkshop and found this beautiful old lampshade, It was once a friend's gift when he moved.

The lamp was completely rusted and I feared for the thin metal, but after a little sanding and brushing she looked perfect. With a few modifications the 2 pieces where perfectly combined.

The name Thuribulum came into my mind quite quickly, as this lamp reminds me of an incense tank. But in this case rather for in a dark steampunk tempel than a gothic church.
