This spaceship for intergalactic traveling is the 3rd work in a series of major works with the concept of spaceships and atompunk. The recurring round shapes are typical of the science-fiction spaceships out of 60s and 70s comics. Atompunk is a sub-genre of steampunk and refers to the initial period of atomic energy and the urge to control space and time.

The metalwork in this artwork consists entirely of recycled trampolines. The woodwork consists mainly of recycled pallets. The bench is made of old roof trusses and recycled beams.This artwork was created for UP.lab  - Claim your space (a regional project) and will will have a permanent place on a public square in the City of Halle (Belgium)
